Lorxus Rapoport

Paul "Lorxus" Rapoport (ey/em, they/them, or he/him) is a Research Manager for MATS 10.0. A geometric group theorist by training (PhD, UIC; published in Algebraic & Geometric Topology), ey moved into AI safety full-time in 2023 after reading too much LessWrong from 2009-2014 and has worked across the agent-foundations landscape since: as a PIBBSS fellow, as a MATS 6.0 scholar, on ARIA-funded work on eliciting latent knowledge presented at TAIS 2026, and as a SPAR stream lead for ~30 scholars on RL with infrabayesian epistemology.
