Thomas Morris

Prior to MATS, Thomas has managed conservation programs across South Africa, scaled environmental programs in New Zealand and has helped social-sector organizations determine the impact they have on the communities they serve. He holds a PhD in marine science from The University of Auckland. After reading the “AI 2027 Scenario” and relocating to the Bay Area, Thomas transitioned into AI Safety to use his skills and experience to further the goals of the AI Safety community.
