Michael Aird

Michael is the AI Program Director at Longview Philanthropy. Before joining Longview, he was an associate director at the RAND Center on AI, Security, and Technology. He joined its predecessor in its early months and helped the center grow to 100+ people. He is also an affiliate at the Centre for the Governance of AI, an advisor and cofounder of the Institute for AI Policy and Strategy, and a board member at the MATS Program. He was previously a Research Scholar at the University of Oxford’s Future of Humanity Institute.
